Caitlin Canter is a principal with Capitol Counsel, LLC. She brings over seven years of Capitol Hill experience to clients from her work with Congressman Devin Nunes (R-CA), a senior member of the House Committee on Ways and Means and Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Canter has expertise in the areas of health care, tax and trade. Canter also worked closely on Central Valley agriculture and water issues. She has campaign experience as she served as the primary liaison between Chairman Nunes and the National Republican Congressional Committee. Canter managed Chairman Nunes’ re-election and leadership fundraising operations and coordinated his national travel and speaking engagements to benefit his colleagues in the House. Canter maintains strong relationships with the California House delegation, House leadership, and the House Republican Steering Committee.

Hired, managed, and evaluated Washington, D.C. staff; provided strategic advice to develop and implement short-term and long-term legislative priorities; served as liaison for the Republican Conference Steering Committee; attended regular chief of staff meetings and functions with other members of the Republican leadership, i.e., the California Republican delegation, the House Committee on Ways and Means, and Republican Deputy Whip team.

Hill Helpers, Washington D.C. – Co-founder. Started a community volunteer organization to connect Hill staff with one-time volunteer opportunities to support local D.C. non-profits

Canter was a key staff member in advancing several long-term health care priorities for Congressman Nunes, including reforms to Ambulatory Surgery Center payments and ground ambulance reimbursements. Additionally, she helped establish successful national and digital fundraising platforms for Congressman Nunes.
